The 2016 Audi Q5 is a compact luxury crossover produced by German automaker Audi. The Q5 has been around 2008. It is expected that the 2016 Audi Q5 come more lighter sportier. Although the new luxury crossover looks sharp with effortlessly smooth handling, it will most definitely have tough job on its hands by aiming on the newly launched Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60.

2016 Audi Q5 Engine and Transmission
When it comes to engine, the 2016 Audi Q5 will have two petrol and one hybrid option. The 2.0 liter TFSI engine is available on the base model and can produce 272 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
Second petrol option is a bigger 3.0 liter V6 TFSI engine that can generate up to 272 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The 2016 Audi Q5 TDI is equiped with 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged V6 that delivers 240 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque.
Engines will be linked to a 8-speed automatic transmission and with the traditional quattro all-wheel-drive mode, the new Q5 can go from zero to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 130 mph.
The fuel efficiency of the Audi Q5 will be significantly improved and the average fuel economoy will be around 28 mpg. Hybrid version comes with 2.0 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with electric motor, and it can produce 245 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque combined.
